About

Hey There, Friendo!

I'm Eric.  If you're reading this, you already know me. It's nice to see you again.
(If you found this blog and I don't already know you, please leave a comment.  I don't know how you got here, but welcome!)

This page is designed to help orient you with the blog and to help you feel at home.  So... since you're probably already sitting at home, we're off to a good start.

Every post on the blog used to be numbered because this started out as a Project 365.  But I quickly realized I'm not a very cutting-edge photographer.  So the blog has slowly morphed into a kind of pop culture, stream of consciousness, interwebs based dumping ground.

Pictures:  There was a time when I never took pictures.  About 25 pictures sum up the extent of my first few years at college.  I didn't take pictures, and nobody else was taking pictures, so there's almost no record of my early to mid 20's.  As this is happening in Florida, my mother is collecting every picture of our family from the last 100 years.  (Not exaggerating.)  My guilt about my lack of photographs is completely self-inflicted and I'm trying to fix it one day at a time. What this means for you: If we're hanging out together, there's a good chance I 'm going to take a picture at some point.  Don't be offended.  If you're totally weirded out by having your picture taken, let me know.  Maybe I can draw a picture of you with crayons.

Facebook:  I never know what's ok to share on the Bookface.  I don't want to bombard your news feed with the latest cat video, but I'm not trying to be a weird lurker either.  So, this blog lets me put everything in one place, and you can come visit when you want an update.  If you don't want to hear about me for a few weeks, that's fine, I'm not going to take it personally.  But when you're ready to reconnect, just click on over and we can catch up.

That's pretty much all there is to know.

Have fun and thanks for checking out the blog!

-Eric
