Day 25 - 10/30/10

The news was right. This stuff does not taste good. However, it is only three dollars. But you have to endure the look of condescension from the 7-11 clerk.

Day 24 - 10/29/10

Just a hard working kid that makes me swell with pride. Way to work hard!

Day 23 - 10/28/10

In honor of my basketball team. We almost held the other team to single digits. Then we picked up a phantom foul with 20 seconds left. Our assistant coach almost owed us all Blizzards. So close!!

Day 22 - 10/27/10

Decisions are made by those who show up. Or those who send mail on time.

Day 21 - 10/26/10

My view from the couch. I know I really love basketball when I coach it all day and then want to watch it at night. Or maybe I just want to see it done the right way.

Day 20 - 10/25/10

I made a new friend this morning. Jang Lee was shouting after me this morning. Turns out, he drove his Mercedes down a hill. His wife left while we called a tow truck. With the keys in her pocket. An hour and a half, two tow trucks, and a drive to see his wife later, we finally got him back on the road. And I've been offered a free lunch at "Hot Pepper Jacks" by Bellevue city hall. So I've got that going for me. Which is nice.

Day 19 - 10/24/10

Even though we have the same prep, we don't see each other as much this year. Thanks, sushi!!

Day 18 - 10/23/10

Day 17 - 10/22/10

The bar at Brouwer's. Tons of local beers on tap. I tried a "Cardiac Arrest Brown Ale". They also had a Dogfish Head "Punkin".

Day 16 - 10/21/10

I started a tradition. After my basketball games, I go to Midori Teriyaki. I feel good that I'm supporting a local business, but I think I'm the only one who supports it because no one else is ever there. And the food really isn't that great. Maybe I need a new tradition next season.

Day 15 - 10/20/10

Flair Taco Truck

Day 14 - 10/19/10

Jimmy Buffett - the most sterilized form of geriatric debauchery. Hi, Parents!

Day 13 - 10/18/10

When I get back to my classroom after coaching basketball, where I can only watch other people play a sport I love, I get to see this outside my classroom window, where I can only watch other people play a different sport I love. Sigh...

Day 12 - 10/17/10

The thing I'm most excited about? Being able to cut sound effects on my home computer.

Day 11 - 10/16/10

At the Redmond farmers market. Awesome sausage and pepper sandwiches!

Day 10 - 10/15/10

The "official" Sounders band, Grammatrain. They suck. Seriously. I'm embarrassed that they "represent" our team. Justin has the appropriate reaction.

Day 9 - 10/14/10

So Runkeeper is an app will measure your pace over your entire trip (and earn you foursquare badges!). And it will also measure your pace for each minute. This minute should't count. I had to stop and use the bathroom! No fair!

Day 8 - 10/13/10

That's right. Mayor.

Day 7 - 10/12/10

I thought it would be cool to take a picture of the board and post it on the teacher website... But I was the only person who thought that sounded cool.

Day 6 - 10/11/10

Yeah. My team has speed.

Day 5 - 10/10/10

National Boards Portfolio arrived at my apartment. And the fun starts... Now!

Day 4 - 10/9/10

Florida State wins the game. But Katniss Everdeen won my heart. Seriously could not put "The Hunger Games" down. I read it during every dead ball and time out.

Day 3 - 10/8/10 - Aurora

Day 2 - 10/7/10

The view from my window. One of my colleagues said, "Say goodbye to the sun. This is the last sunny day of the year!". Cue "Debbie Downer" music, Carol.

Day 1 - 10/6/10 - "You should do this!"

I was told this process would be easy, fun, and enlightening. Thanks, team.

I know me.  This is only getting updated once a week.  If I'm not getting badges or trophies, I'm way less motivated to do this.

I should just give myself a trophy at the end of this.  hmmm...  Now I'm motivated
