Deco Japan at Seattle Asian Art Museum
Songbook for
"Moga" or Modern Girl was the embodiment of the new interwar Japanese culture.
She was traditional yet modern.
Straddling the two worlds just as Japan was trying to do.

Art Deco is one of my favorite styles.
And dragons are awesome.

There were many other examples of traditional animals in the modern style.
Rabbits and flying fish were prominent in the collection


Rancho Bravo 
As the token Seattle representative in 538's Burrito Bracket, my brother and I had to try it. If you've never been to the storefront on the South side of Cal Anderson park, it's probably because there are no signs. But you get a damn good burrito for six bucks. El Camion might be slightly stronger, and it's usually parked by the Ballard Safeway or the Home Depot on Aurora.
