There is a DJ, the announcer had fake devil horns, and the girls had names like"Slutnik" and "Yoko No You Didn't".
So, yeah, it's pretty dope.
Also, your team selects the MVP on the other team, and they pick the MVP on your team. This is one of my favorite ideas in sports.
They do have a short film before the bout that explains the basics of roller derby, so you don't really have to know anything going in.
Or you could watch "Whip It" first to get in the right spirit.
This was our beach party today.
Ugh.
Wizard Staffs are where you drink a can, and then duct tape a new can on top of it. When you build a staff taller than you, you "win".
