Warm 106.9 visited our school a few days ago. They raffled off several prizes, which included a pair of tickets to see Bryan Adams. After four other people passed on the tickets, they were given to me.
Major win.
The concert was pretty great. You can see in the photo, he didn't have a backup band. Bryan wouldn't do that on the "Bare Bones" tour. After the first few songs, I developed a real appreciation for him as a songwriter. The songs held up really well in their stripped down versions. Plus, the crowd was super into it. 80% of them were middle aged women on their fourth bottle of wine. Good crowd.
