Trivia Night At JJ Mahoney's

Monday 8:00pm

One good thing about this trivia night is that it's quick.  With only five rounds, we were out of there in under 90 minutes.  

The categories were pretty bad.  The round on palindromes was so easy, everyone earned 100%, so the round was pointless.  You would have figured them all out too.  

(ex.  South American Pack Animal Shopping Destination = Llama Mall)  

There was a whole music round selected by two servers at the bar.  

You had to name the title, artist, and which guy picked that song.  It seemed completely arbitrary. 

So that category was 30 points.  

The rest of the trivia night was worth 40.  

Ridiculous.

Totally Unrelated:

There's this really cool app called "Exoplanet" that you can get for your iPhone.  ("Exoplanet" just means a planet outside our solar system, orbiting another star.)

It gives you all kinds of facts and diagrams about each exoplanet including orbital analysis and the location relative to constellations.

You can even zoom in and rotate a 3D map of the Milky Way.
