Day 260 - Mariners At Marlins

June 24, 2011
Pre-Game Meal at Tat's Delicatessen.
You're probably safe ordering the 8-inch sub.
The 12-inch is probably more meat than you can handle.
(..must....resist...making...joke...)
Triangle Pub:  If you are ever down by the stadiums, do yourself a favor and come here before the game.  Great hangout.  Cannot recommend it enough.
The entire Mariners - Marlins series was displaced due to rescheduling the U2 concert from last summer.
We thought it was really cool that the Mariners were listed first on the ticket like they were the away team.
But it turns out the Mariners are always listed first on their tickets.
Due to the rescheduling, this game was not included in the season ticket packages.
So there were plenty of empty seats.
Hopefully the place will be full for
July 29 - Sonics Appreciation Night.
They closed the roof in the second inning.
It was pretty hard to focus on anything else while this was going on.
King's Court by the left field foul pole.
This is one of the best ideas the Mariners have ever had.
This section was cheering and chanting the whole game.
Reminded me of the ECS or Squad 6.
Good thing they closed the roof when they did.
It started DUMPING.
Felix at bat = Base Hit.
Felix's pitching line:
10 strikeouts.
Allowed only 2 hits.
3 Marlins Hit By Pitches.
Felix hit the Marlins more than they hit him.
And, on top of all that, that Mariners won 5-1.
Yay!

Sorkin-y web series about 5 friends competing for start-up money.  (Each episode is only 10 minutes)
Ummm... that's pretty cool.
