Day 262 - Does This Count As Peer Observation?

June 26, 2011
7th Grade Pod meeting at Bad Teacher

We were the people in the theater laughing at EVERYTHING.  Because almost everything seemed to remind us of our school, or a kid we had this year, or something we wish we had said.  We were almost the only people in the theater, so at least we didn't bug anyone.
Always a great crowd.  The Revolution scored a super early goal but the fans kept the faith.  We were rewarded with two late goals to wrap up 9 points in 9 days, bringing us to second in the West.
Dominance!
Our seats are located in the sun at kickoff.  Thankfully, the shade creeps over us about 15 minutes into the game.
Did I feel dumb bringing sunscreen to the game?
Heck no.
Friday Night Lights
I couldn't wait for the series finale, so I ordered the DVD's.  I plowed through the last few episodes tonight.  Such a great show.  It doesn't matter if you like football.  Eric and Tammy Taylor are two of the best characters on TV.
(Seasons 1-4 are on Netflix Streaming.  Most of Season 5 (whatever has aired on NBC) is on Hulu.
Linkage:
Gillian Welch Album The Harrow and the Harvest Streaming on NPR
Good stuff.

From NPR's All Songs Considered.
They sound kind of like a country version of the group from the movie Once
Thought it's not in the concert, I really like Poison and Wine
